How do I pass campaign data from Google Adwords into Autochart?
You may wish to pass campaign data into Autochart from your Google Adwords ads so that the referring campaign is stored against the visitor record. This article assumes that your Adwords account has auto-tagging enabled (the default and recommended option).
The core information to be passed to Autochart is the "utm_campaign" variable which needs to be added to the query string of an ad's URL. Rather than needing to remember to add this to the Final URL field of every ad you create, you can set it at the campaign level using a custom parameter in your campaign settings. Just create a custom parameter with the `name` field set to utm_campaign and `value` set to the title of your campaign, e.g WinterTyreSpecial
